Anchor is a Premium 6-Strand Embroidery Thread, made from 100% extra long stable Egyptian Cotton. Each Skein is 8m long. 

Anchor floss is beautifully soft, smooth and high quality, making it easy and enjoyable to stitch with. It’s perfect for embroidering our tote bags and hand/tea towels, creating a finer, more detailed finish than yarn while still giving your stitches beautiful colour and definition.

It also washes beautifully, making it ideal for embroidered pieces that are designed to be used and loved.

Note: I use Anchor 100% cotton embroidery floss (rather than the more well known-DMC brand) for its beautifully soft feel, smooth stitching and gorgeous colour range. It’s easy to work with, washes beautifully and creates a lovely finish on our totes and hand towels.
