Here’s everything you need to know before placing your personalised piece, from choosing your design and embroidery style to making special requests.
Can I inquire about a custom idea or order?
Custom and personalized orders are a majority of what my store offers! Please send me a message with what you are looking for if you do not see a specific design in my shop and I am happy to work with you on creating something that you love!
If you don't see an item in my shop that you are looking to have personalised, I am happy to help source an item and complete the personalisation for you!
What are the EBL knits made from?
They are made from 100% cotton, these knits are soft on your child’s skin and easy to care for. They also have a touch of stretch, which helps them endure through growth spurts and last longer.
What is the sizing like on each item?
Size ranges on clothing start at 0-3M up to 5 Years.
The Elora By Lenore knits feature a very oversized fit, offering your little one plenty of room to grow. If you prefer a more fitted look, consider sizing down.

DIY KIts
If you’re planning to create your own embroidery piece, these answers will guide you through what’s included, how to use your kit, and how to get the best results.
What is included in each kit?
Each kit includes the following:
- The size and colour jumper/cardigan/tutu dress/beanie/blanket/stocking of your choice
- a printed stick and stitch sheet OR letter stencil
- water soluble pen
- needles (sharp and blunt)
- 50 metres of yarn (5 colours)
- needle threader
- scissors
- quick unpicker
- keepsake box

What sizes are the clothing items?
Clothing sizes start at 0-3M to 5 Years. They are a very oversized fit!
If you need a large sized piece of clothing, please select the KIT ONLY and these designs can be transferred to any item of clothing you have at home.
Or, select the Blanket kit, which sizing is irrelevant for!
What is the appropriate age range for these kits?
These kits are able to be used from ages 9+ (with adult supervision). There are plastic needles included in each kit if you would prefer to remove the sharp metal needle.
Please consider selecting age appropriate designs (simple ones for younger ages).
All video tutorials are suitable for younger viewers.
Adults are my most common customers, but if you know someone young who is crafty, these kits are perfect for them!
If the clothing sizes I stock don’t fit them, I suggest choosing either the KIT ONLY (which can be added to any item at home!) or the BLANKET KIT.
How will I know how to stitch myself?
Your kit will include everything you need, including written instructions. This is a beginner friendly activity! No experience is required, I make everything very simple for you to follow.

Washing and Care
Caring for embroidered knits is simple once you know how. These FAQs cover washing, drying, and storing your pieces to keep them looking their best.
How should I care for my EBL items?
Hand-washing is highly recommended. We understand that time can be limited with little ones, so if you need to machine wash, please turn the item inside out, use a delicate bag, and select a cold, gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.
Some pilling of the embroidery is normal after washing and wearing. To maintain its appearance, carefully trim any excess with small, sharp scissors.
Our embellishments are securely hand-sewn and comply with all Children's Apparel Product Guidelines for Safety.
Shipping and Returns

What is the turn around time like?
When ordering a custom embroidery piece, you’ll be able to choose your preferred turnaround time before checkout. Most orders are completed within up to 6 weeks, but if you need it sooner, I do offer rush options for an additional fee.
DIY Kits are dispatched within 4 business days.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, international shipping is available. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any taxes, duties, or shipping delays.
What is the return and exchange policy?
Due to the personalised nature of these items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is correct, as we are unable to remake items due to incorrect submissions.
