Stitch and Chat In-Person Embroidery Classes
Learn how to embroider one of the viral baby and child jumpers or cardigans in a calm, supportive, in person class!
My beginner classes are perfect for first time stitchers, or anyone wanting extra support while learning foundational embroidery skills and techniques. These sessions are designed to help you slow down, learn new skills, and create something truly special for a little one in your life.
Whether you don’t feel confident starting at home, or you simply want a creative space to sit, stitch and connect with like minded people, these classes are for you.
I’ll guide you step by step through the process, sharing the same techniques, tips and methods I use in my own embroidery work. Alongside over 25 years of stitching experience, I also bring my background as a high school teacher, allowing me to combine my skills while supporting you in real time throughout the class.
I also offer intermediate to advanced classes for stitchers who already have embroidery experience and a working knowledge of stitches and techniques. (These sessions are more social and relaxed, designed for people who would like to embroider alongside like minded creatives while continuing to build their skills and confidence. I’ll still be there to provide guidance, answer questions, share tips and help troubleshoot where needed, however these classes are not structured as step by step beginner lessons, so prior embroidery knowledge is recommended).
Each week, a new pattern is the focus. The same design is taught across both weekly sessions (Wednesday and Sunday), so you can attend either class as a Single Class, or choose the Double Class option to return and continue working on the same piece with support.
If you need more time to finish your project, you can also purchase a Return Ticket, which allows you to bring your kit and unfinished project back to any future Stitch & Chat class. You’re welcome to attend any session, regardless of the featured design, and continue stitching with guidance and support.
